Llywelyn's Pub in Webster Groves is donating a portion of their dinner sales to Canterbury Enterprises on Wednesday, May 16th, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Canterbury Enterprises Sheltered Workshop specializes in helping local business's with their repetitive and time consuming tasks.  Business's save time and money by subcontracting their packaging, fulfillment, kit-building, light assembly, mailings, and inspection projects to Canterbury Enterprises. Canterbury's employees love doing their job, and bring a whole new meaning to "pride" in the workplace.

It will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Doors open at 6:15pm and questions start at 7:00pm. It will be located at I.B.E.W. Local #1 Hall 5850 Elizabeth Ave. (just off Hampton Ave.) St. Louis, MO 63110. Tables of 8 are 160.00 and 20.00 per person. We are accepting donations for the auction and sponsers. Proudly wearing their red, white and blue, several employees and staff of Canterbury Enterprises were proud participants in the annual Webster Groves Independence Day parade.  Sheltered workshop manager, Charlie Fischer, entered the parade several years ago to increase awareness about the existence of this unique facility to the citizens of Webster Groves.  While working at Canterbury provides an income to individuals, it also creates a safe setting for these individuals with disabilities to socialize.  So, enthusiastically waving their flags, five employees sat in the back of the festively decorated truck as cheers of support came from onlookers.  Staff and family members walked the brief two-mile route handing out candy, beads, small toys and brochures as the gang in the truck truly celebrated their independence with a smile.
